High-speed automatic doors are a cutting-edge solution designed to enhance efficiency, accessibility, and security across various commercial and industrial environments. These doors, which open and close at rapid speeds, facilitate seamless transitions between spaces while optimising operational workflows. Their advanced motor technology and streamlined design ensure minimal downtime and maximum output in busy settings.
Featuring a rapid opening and closing mechanism, high-speed automatic doors are engineered to handle high-traffic areas effectively. They are constructed from durable materials such as aluminium, steel, or reinforced PVC. Thus ensuring they withstand the demands of frequent use while maintaining structural integrity. Furthermore, safety is paramount, with features like photoelectric beams, safety edges, and emergency stop functions incorporated to prevent accidents and protect both personnel and equipment. Additionally, these doors offer customisable options, including various sizes, finishes, and configurations, which can fit specific needs and integrate seamlessly with existing building management systems. Consequently, this combination of durability, safety, and customisation makes high-speed automatic doors a versatile and effective solution for a range of applications.
The benefits of high-speed automatic doors are numerous. Their rapid operation significantly improves efficiency by streamlining the flow of people and goods, which is crucial in environments like warehouses, distribution centres, and manufacturing facilities. Furthermore, enhanced accessibility is another advantage, as the smooth operation of these doors accommodates high foot traffic and facilitates easy passage for equipment and vehicles. In addition, energy savings play a crucial role; by minimising the time doors are open, these doors help reduce energy loss, thereby maintaining consistent internal temperatures and lowering energy costs. Moreover, the robust design of high-speed automatic doors means they require minimal maintenance and have a long lifespan, ultimately making them a cost-effective investment.
These doors find versatile applications across various industries. In retail environments, they improve the shopping experience by managing foot traffic efficiently while complementing store aesthetics. In logistics and warehousing, their rapid operation speeds up the movement of goods and equipment, contributing to overall workflow efficiency. Healthcare facilities benefit from the swift movement of patients and staff, with the hygienic design helping maintain a clean environment. Manufacturing facilities also see improvements in operational efficiency due to the streamlined movement of materials and equipment. In the food and beverage industry, high-speed automatic doors help maintain hygiene and temperature control, adhering to food safety regulations.
In conclusion, high-speed automatic doors offer a significant advancement in door technology, providing rapid operation, durability, and energy efficiency. Their ability to enhance operational workflows and improve accessibility makes them a valuable addition to a variety of settings. By addressing specific application needs and ensuring proper installation and maintenance, these doors can transform environments into more efficient and streamlined spaces.
A simple push-button is the most cost effective way to open the High Speed Doors, the door can be set to automatically close with a desired time delay.
An invisible photo electric beam is projected between two points which can be bollards, when traffic passes through and breaks the beam, the doors opens. This is not the most common way to open the High Speed Doors as pedestrian traffic will aslo trigger the door to open.
Inductive loops are embedded in concrete and detect metal objects like forklifts and vehicles to automatically open the High Speed Door. Which then closes, after the traffic passes through the safety Photo Electric Beam and the set time delay is completed.
A remote control transmitter can be fixed to a fork lift or vehicle, remotes can operate for than one one using different buttons on the remotes. The Roll Fast Door will then automatically close when the programmed time delay has been reached.
A cord hanging from the ceiling can be operated by a fork lift driver without dismounting. This use to be a common way of operating High Speed Doors, but remote controls and other door automation devices have taken there place in recent years.
Advanced programmable motion detectors that will only open the automatic door when traffic is approaching the High Speed Door. These motion sensors reduce undesired opening of the door when traffic is crossing or exiting the doorway.
